There are members of at least five different unreached people groups who come in and out of a city that is home to some believers. Most live days upriver and are difficult to access. They are enslaved by the fears of animism and superstition, depending only on luck and sufficient witchcraft to find peace with God and man. The Great Commission of our Lord Jesus calls transformed children of God to take the good news of salvation to these people — making disciples, baptizing disciples, and teaching disciples the commands of Christ. Lostness is pervasive in the area, but Jesus came to seek and to save the lost! Please pray that they will be able hear the gospel when they are in the city and that believers will be able to travel to their villages to share with those people groups.
