Each week, some believers hold literacy classes for children and families that are members of two people groups upriver. These classes take place in the language school. They teach a Bible story, teach praise songs in the indigenous languages, help with hygiene, and then spend time teaching the students to write in Portuguese. Please pray that these classes will help to bring joy and life to the upper-river people groups. Pray that the gospel will be understood and then taken upriver to new villages and river systems.
