Baptist representatives write: “We praise God for the baptism of four young men who are resident students at our farm in Dumanjug, Cebu. Out of the eight students currently in the program, two were already believers, and two are not yet ready to make that commitment. We trust that God is continuing to work in their hearts and lives. Baptism is a significant step in a believer’s journey of faith. It is a public declaration that they have chosen to follow Jesus Christ and Him alone. We rejoice with these young men as they take this important step of obedience and commitment. They have a few more weeks of training before returning to their homes. Please join us in praying that they will be firmly grounded in their faith, and that no matter what challenges they may face, they will remain steadfast and continue to stand strong as followers of Jesus Christ.
