(pri-TOR-ee-uh) – In April, you were asked to pray for the Lord to send missionaries Daniel and Sky Scott a “person of peace” (Luke 10:6) who would say, “Come over . . . and help us!” (Acts 16:9 ESV) in ministry. The Lord heard and answered! Daniel and Sky have met a mature African couple who are passionate about making disciples. “This couple reminds us of Aquila and Priscilla in the Book of Acts! They already have a working discipleship model in which young Africans can apply for a three-month program where they live, learn, and grow at a group home. The ‘disciples’ are taught discipline, hard work, character development, how to evangelize, and how to disciple others. ‘Aquila and Priscilla’ even told us how they had also been praying for new partners in ministry. The Lord heard both of our prayers and brought us together!” Join Daniel and Sky in praying: “Oh, Holy Spirit, please move and show us how to ‘stir up one another to love and good works’ (Hebrews 10:24 ESV).”
