Please pray for Christian refugees who are returning to university this month. The academic calendar in South Korea begins in March and concludes in December, so it’s different from the American schedule. Adjusting to university in a new culture and country is a daunting task. Many refugees face challenges like heavy academic workloads, new environments, and the pressure of making important decisions about their futures. Many of them also struggle with loneliness and making friends. There can be discrimination toward them because they are different from the majority culture. Others feel overwhelmed by academic expectations because many of them haven’t had a good foundational education. So, they wonder if they will be able to graduate and then be able to get a job in a fiercely competitive job market. They feel that their future is uncertain. Please pray that these young refugees will look to Christ for their source of strength, peace, and wisdom. Please pray that these refugees will not be consumed by stress or worry but trust God’s plan for their lives.
