The Borderlands Team writes: “As we are ministering to refugees here in northern Uganda, we are constantly reminded that peace is needed. Each day, we hear of more battles, more death, more hurt that our friends here carry. The past few months have brought news of tribal wars in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan. This has resulted in tensions being high in the refugee community among the tribal members. Pray that the Christian leaders in these tribes will be able to share the gospel well. Pray that the refugee community will stay united, and petition for peace in the Nuba Mountains and the end of tribalism. Pray for there to be ‘people of peace’ (Luke 10:6) who are ready to follow Christ!”
