(roh-HING-uh) – Many people in the refugee camps are making every effort to leave Bangladesh. News reports in December described hundreds of refugees safely reaching Indonesia after spending weeks in a boat at sea. Although there are no guarantees regarding how a destination country will deal with these migrants, the conditions in the Bangladesh refugee camps are very bad, so one can understand why the people want to leave. To make matters worse, the people are not legally permitted to leave the camps or to return to their home country of Myanmar. Therefore, some Rohingya sneak out of the camps and take on great risks by traveling to other countries. Please keep praying for these people.
