(suh-RARE) – “In our place of ministry,” workers write, “a local pastor has been laboring for many years. His church is small, and the task is large. Baptists in Senegal have recently formed a Baptist Association that is seeking to formally ordain pastors who meet qualifications. Pastor John was recently formally ordained, and his church gave sacrificially to provide a celebration for him. This ordination has brought legitimacy to this small Baptist church in the eyes of the townspeople. Pastor John is seeing a number of people coming to him for prayer and advice. Please pray that this church will be full of new disciples of Jesus Christ who have a heart to proclaim the good news to those around them. Pray for spiritual protection for this pastor and his family.”
