The Gosain of India are devoted to the Hindu god Shiva. They bury their dead instead of burning them, which makes the Gosain very distinct from other Hindus. The bodies are worshiped each day as part of a religious ritual, and the tombs are believed to have a spirit in them. Pray that like the Gerasene demoniac (Mark 5:1–20), the Gosain will be set free from these spiritual forces and, like that demoniac afterward, will share what Christ has done in the cities and towns surrounding them.
