Bruno and his wife recently learned that their unborn baby has significant birth defects. Local doctors, family members, and friends have advised them to have an abortion “because you don’t need to be burdened with an unhealthy child.” Bruno and his wife are followers of Jesus and believe that abortion is wrong. They are accepting of the possibility of caring for a disabled child, but they are asking the Lord to work a miracle. They believe that many of the people around them will marvel either way — if they do not abort their baby or if God heals and gives them a healthy baby. Would you join Bruno and his wife in asking for the Lord to be glorified through this baby? If He wills, pray that the baby will be healthy. Most importantly, pray for Bruno and his wife to draw close to the Lord through this pregnancy. May their faith be a light to those around them so that many will believe and be saved.
