Some believers went to visit a young believer. When they got to the believer’s house, her friend Rahel was there. As the conversation turned to spiritual things, Rahel shared her story with the visitors. When she was in the latter months of pregnancy with her son, he stopped moving. A doctor told Rahel that the baby was dead and he needed to induce labor. On the fourth day of no movement, Rahel went to her mother, who’s a strong believer, and asked her to pray for her son. She told her mother that if Jesus would bring him back to life, she would trust Jesus and follow Him. As soon as Rahel came out of the church where she’d received a prayer, she felt her baby move again! However, Rahel didn’t follow Jesus. After hearing Rahel’s story, one of the visitors shared the story of Lazarus, whom Jesus raised on the fourth day. She pointed out to Rahel that many people believed Jesus and followed Him after witnessing the event and that Rahel needed to make her decision. That evening, Rahel repented and decided to follow Jesus. Praise the Lord! Pray that God will grow Rahel’s faith and that she will be discipled well.
