Recently, a pastor in Sri Lanka expressed some trepidation about going out and sharing the gospel with strangers. He explained that some churches are bold in evangelism, but his church is “bold in discipleship.” Give thanks to God for his passion about bold and intentional discipleship among the believers in his church! Please pray that this pastor and many others like him will also see the need and experience the joy of sowing the seeds of the gospel into the hearts of the lost people who live all around them. As Paul asks in Romans 10:14 (ESV), “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?”
