A missionary’s goal is to make disciples. They study language and develop cultural competency over time. Yet no matter how deeply a missionary adjusts to the host culture, they aren’t true native of that place. National partners with the same heart for the gospel are key to accomplishing the mission and continuing it for future generations. Recently, two national partners who had been serving in Seoul have followed God’s leading to different ministries. This is good news for them and the ministries they are moving to but leaves both Sogang and Sinchon Tree Churches with holes that need filling. God already knows this need. Please pray that God will lead Korean young adults who are walking deeply with Jesus and can become healthy leaders to begin partnering with missionaries in church planting and other outreach efforts in Seoul.
