Students & Young Professionals, Seoul, South Korea

In Seoul, many churches exist, but few young adults are attending. Many students have become consumed by intense academic and work environments. They are lost and have become overburdened and without hope. Missionaries are constantly searching for ways to engage with students who are increasingly unable to dedicate time to God. One connection that God has provided is Professor Park. He is a Christian professor at a local university who has been trying for 13 years to bring the light of the gospel into his students’ lives. Upon meeting the missionaries, he asked if they would be interested in becoming teaching assistants in his English class on campus. For the past two semesters, they have been serving in this way. As a result, one student–a staunch atheist–began regularly attending Sogang Tree Church. Through opportunities in these classes, missionaries have been able to have gospel conversations with multiple other students. Please pray that in the fall 2024 semester, God will introduce the missionaries to students who are ready to hear the good news. Pray that these students will trade their burdens for the hope of Christ.
