Spring is in the air! At least in the Northern Hemisphere, it is. As the months of the calendar roll over and come closer to the summer months, many faithful men and women will begin preparations to travel far and wide to serve on a volunteer team with International Mission Board personnel on the field. Many will come to serve alongside former church members, while others will go to serve with someone they’ve never met. All are coming with a passion for the nations and a hope that the gospel will reach the far ends of the earth. Pray for the many volunteer teams that will be serving in hard places. Pray that the evil one will have no hold on their preparations, travel, arrival, health, or the task while on the ground. Pray that the volunteer teams will be faithful and fruitful with the work before them. Ask that the kingdom of heaven will be greatly impacted by the work done by these volunteer teams. “Pray also for me, that the message may be given to me when I open my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel” (Ephesians 6:19 CSB).
