(TAH-jeeks) – In the summers of Tajikistan, many people shift locations and rhythms of life. Students leave the cities for the villages of their families, and the pace of work can be slower. Many local believers use this time as an opportunity to share their faith with family members and neighbors. Summer is also an easier time for traveling to remote, mountainous places that are otherwise blocked by snow or mud. Pray this verse for Tajik believers who choose to go: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8 ESV). Pray that local followers of Jesus will be empowered by the Spirit and that they will speak the truth of God in unreached places this summer.
