Annual flooding due to monsoon rains and overflowing rivers in the Tea River Area of South Asia temporarily displace thousands of families this time of year. Pray for their health and safety since waterborne diseases spread quickly and snake bites and other dangers threaten families living in close quarters in schools and other temporary shelters. Ask the one true God to reveal Himself in unmistakable ways to this Muslim-majority people group, showing them that He is the God who sees, the God who hears their cries, the God who provides and heals. Pray for opportunities for believers to lovingly serve families through disaster relief. Also pray that believers in close proximity will speak up and share the good news of the God who sees, the God who hurts with the hurting, and the God who provides and brings comfort and peace.
