Rebekah, a Muslim-background believer, visited her unbelieving family in their village in late May for the Islamic Eid al-Adha (the Feast of Sacrifice) festival. Since then, she has struggled with pneumonia and serious physical weakness in addition to spiritual oppression due to black magic intended by family members to turn her back from her new faith. Ask the Holy Spirit to remind Rebekah, her husband, Peter, and their sons Aaron and Anthony — all first-generation Muslim-background believers within the past two to three years — that God is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise and that He will be their refuge, strength, and ever-present help. Pray that Rebekah and her immediate family will learn how to stand firm and put on the armor of God. Pray that God will strengthen them against the schemes of the evil one. Pray that what Satan intended for evil, God will use for His glory, for the furthering of His kingdom, and for this family’s good.
