While Turkey is a Muslim country in its traditions, it is actually a place that offers freedom of religion. This means that local churches can boldly and freely do evangelistic outreach in many ways. Just like in the United States, Christmas and Easter are great times for evangelistic outreach in Turkey. In large cities across the country, Christmas outreach services with upwards of 500 people will take place during December. Hundreds of New Testaments will be distributed to those curious enough to attend. Please pray that God will be preparing hearts to hear and understand the gospel. Pray that those who receive New Testaments will feel compelled to read them and be drawn to Christ as they read His words.
