(is-tan-BULL) – Please pray for a church and their young pastor, Timothy. Recently, a young church member shared with Timothy that he no longer feels that the Christian faith is a fitting path for him, and he plans to leave the church. While this news was not entirely unexpected given his ongoing struggles and hesitancy to seek repentance, it serves as a poignant reminder of the broader challenges the church faces. This situation highlights a significant need for growth in discipleship efforts. Despite many members being Christians for several years, there is a noticeable gap in personal discipline and accountability. Many rely heavily on Sunday services for their spiritual nourishment and have a limited desire for opportunities for deeper growth and connection throughout the week. More than half of the congregation miss Sunday services consistently, and even those who attend regularly often struggle with complacency in their spiritual lives. Pray for Timothy to seek wisdom, perseverance, and grace. Pray that God will guide the church in developing stronger discipleship practices, encouraging personal commitment, and helping all believers to better support and serve each other!
