West Africans in Paris, France

“The city of Paris showcases an abundance of sparkling Christmas decorations in the month of December. Yet even when the signs of Christmas surround us, it is easy to be overwhelmed by the amount of West African people hurrying from place to place and the heaviness that so many of them seem to be carrying. With all that’s going on in the world, the message of Christmas truly is a powerful one and is needed more than ever. The hymn ‘O Holy Night’ proclaims ‘His law is love and His gospel is peace.’ The weary world rejoices at the thrill of hope offered! Pray that the Holy Spirit will enable our team to be sensitive to any and every opportunity around us this month to share the message of Christ, who came to break our chains, deliver us from oppression, and dwell within us as Immanuel.”
