(yoh-kuh-HAH-muh) – This summer, a group of five university students from Nebraska will spend six weeks in Yokohama during their break. Because the academic calendar in Japan differs from that of the United States — with a later and shorter summer break — Japanese universities will still be in session during this time. While there, these students will be spending time on university campuses, building relationships, engaging students with the gospel, and helping host English and cultural exchange events. They have already begun making connections with students on campus. Please pray for continued open doors within the universities and for many opportunities to have meaningful gospel conversations throughout the summer. For many students they meet, these students from Nebraska may be the first Christians they have ever encountered personally.
