Mosque in Maluwe

This is the oldest living resident of Maluwe, Ghana. She recalls her late husband, the imam, being drafted into the Gold Coast Infantry Brigade in 1942 to fight for the British in WW2. West African colonies contributed over 200,000 soldiers to support the Allied efforts in World War II.
