Jewel

The Taj Mahal in Agra, India, was built over a period of 21 years, from 1632 to 1653. It is a white marble mausoleum built for Mumtaz Mahal, the third wife of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It holds the distinction of being the flower of Mughal architecture and the jewel of Muslim art in India.
