During the Via Crucis, or Way of the Cross, at the Colosseum on Good Friday, a Polish family took photos with their phone of a picture of a little girl. They posed the picture near the Pope as he spoke as well as other scenes during the event. It is common practice among some Catholics for family members to make pilgrimages to holy sites or events in order to gain grace or healing for a loved one.
