Providence provides for missions

Pastor Phil from Providence Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, shares with MedAdvance 2025 attendees about the church’s commitment to missions. The church set out to be a sending church from its genesis 47 years ago. Providence has 12 singles and families serving with the IMB. One thousand people in the church receive prayer requests from missionaries that the church has commissioned. During monthly prayer nights, 800 church members gather to pray for the nations. The church made a commitment to give more than 20% percent of our overall budget to the nations, which is 2.1 million dollars — a large portion going to the IMB. This year, Providence sent 400 volunteers on 35 short-term trips this year. Next year they plan to send 450 people on mission trips. IMB Photo
