Taj Mahal and Water

India is a land and people of contrasts. Walk down any street, and you’ll find a variety of religions, economic statuses, and cultural differences. In Agra, tourists flock to see the Taj Mahal (aka “the Taj”), a mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture and is often considered one of the wonders of the modern world.
