Project Overview

Partner with us, the Chiang Rai Team in Northern Thailand, to start healthy churches among the unreached people in and around the city of Chiang Rai. Located in the Golden Triangle on the border with Myanmar and Laos, Chiang Rai is home to the Northern Thai people who have strong Buddhist beliefs and perform ancestor worship. Additionally, people groups from 13 hill tribes, Myanmar, Laos, and even China have immigrated to Chiang Rai. Your gift will support the following ministries that engage the unreached people of Chiang Rai to make disciples and start healthy churches. University ministry, agriculture, coffee, and sports are the ministry avenues our team currently uses. •    Support a church ministering to coffee farmers and their families in a mountain coffee village. See how this church was started through a coffee business: https://www.imb.org/2021/06/30/church-planting-coffee/•    Change lives through Project Fit Gym: Middle-class Thai gym members come for Cross Fit-style workouts and also find prayer groups, a weekly dinner that builds bridges to Wednesday-night church at the gym, and large-scale outreach events. Your gift funds these ministries and also buys equipment for the gym.•    Help engage the university students studying in Chiang Rai from Thailand, China, Myanmar, Laos, and other countries. Your gift will provide meals, drinks, and a consistent location to host student outreach and discipleship events.•    Build a chicken coop or aquaponics farming system to build relationships and share the gospel in unreached sub-districts of Chiang Rai. Your partnership is vital in reaching the city of Chiang Rai and the surrounding villages with the good news of Christ.
