Catholic priests from the Church of Saint Paul’s Shipwreck march in a parade during the Feast of St. Paul’s Shipwreck festival in Valletta, Malta. Held every year in the capital city of Valletta, this public holiday commemorates the shipwreck of the Apostle Paul in Malta in 60 AD, which led to Malta’s conversion to Christianity from paganism. Church of Saint Paul’s Shipwreck was built in 1570. The all-day festival begins with mass and communion held at the church.
