(BANG-ah-lohr) – New Year’s Eve, for believers in Bangalore, is an important night. Believers all throughout the country will spend the entire night in fasting and prayer. They will gather in buildings and homes to spend the night on their knees, interceding for their country and the Church. They will pray for leaders, the Church, the lost, and an abundance of other issues, such as those who are persecuted in the state and their personal ministries. Please lift up this sacred night of prayer. Pray that their pleas to the Lord will be a chorus of glory to His ears and that He will not forget this country, state, and the people who do not yet know Him. “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance” (2 Peter 3:9 ESV).
