(ben-GAH-lee) – Irene has a burden to share Jesus with an unengaged, unreached people group in the area where she lives. There is a large Sheikh population near her. The Sheikh speak Urdu as well as the local language and are all Muslim. This group living near Irene lacks good education. Many cannot read or write. Although many people have tried to reach the Sheikh with the gospel, there are few, if any, believers among them. Pray for Irene to have wisdom as she intentionally shares in their community. Pray, also, that God will use Irene “to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in [Jesus]” (Acts 26:18 ESV). Pray for the Sheikh people to turn to Jesus and repent.
