(KAYP town) – The Cape Town Metro Evangelism Team writes: “When asked about prayer concerns for her church family, a local pastor’s wife shared the following request regarding the young people: ‘Some are being looked after by their grandparents or just a grandma. The mom and dad, in most cases, are on drugs or just don’t want anything to do with their kids.’ Their small church has a growing ministry that is supportive of these special ones, but there is nothing like having both parents involved in the lives of their children! Please pray for spiritual and physical awakening as well as personal responsibility within this suburban community and many other communities in Cape Town that are experiencing the same deficit. Pray that these parents will come to know the grace and forgiveness of our Father in heaven and the benefits of consistently following Him, which can change the outlook and trajectory for their children.”
