“Learn Spanish, I am going to use you!” This was the call of the Lord to a young Chinese girl, overwhelmed with the changes and pressures of living in a country with a different culture and language from her own. Today she is a seminary graduate and a pastor’s wife, serving the Lord in a vibrant church. Like her, many young Chinese believers find themselves surrounded by loneliness and great challenges. Pray that many of them be called to missions and respond in faith and obedience, testifying of Jesus among Spaniards and the nations! “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 ESV).
