Coffee People of Southeast Asia

Ask any follower of the majority religion in this area what Christmas is, and most will respond about Santa Claus and Christmas trees. Few know the meaning is Christ Jesus coming into the world. On December 13, the English Fellowship that meets on the Baptist Health College Campus will hold its Christmas celebration. We pray that many from the campus and community will be interested in attending the event with songs, drama, and reading the Christmas story. The student committee is planning all aspects, from the biblical decorations to the skit that illustrates the difference Jesus makes in one’s life. One of the producers, Sheryl, hopes to portray relevant challenges students are facing in the short drama. “College students have problems with drinking, spending eight hours a day on social media, anxiety, and depression,” she explained to the group. “We can help display how following Jesus changes a person’s life, enabling them to have a new purpose and peace, and know why Jesus came to the earth.” Pray for the ongoing preparations for the campus Christmas celebrations and every church and group hosting a Christmas celebration. Pray that those far from God will attend and believe in Jesus as their Savior.
