The Baptist Hospital in Service City wants to continue to equip its medical staff to share Jesus with others. This desire to minister to patients holistically comes from the hospital’s foundational roots. After the hospital started in 1957, the hospital actively shared the gospel with patients and prayed for them. Over the next 40 years, fervent evangelistic activity led to almost 70 new churches. New evangelistic leaders are needed as the hospital mission fires have become embers. This month, ongoing witnessing training will be led by a team member and local ministry partners. Please pray these new spiritual skills of witnessing will be used effectively by a new generation of healthcare professionals. “And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people” (Matthew 4:23 ESV). Please pray the embers will ignite into a sustained fire, full of God’s anointing to see many souls saved.
