Missionaries have started a house church in Markham, Ontario to reach out to the growing Chinese immigrant population. The church is expanding and needs to find a new place to meet. Several like-minded missional churches have been contacted to determine if the group can meet and grow in their buildings. One church is in a predominately Chinese community, seems to be a good fit for the group, and is currently considering this opportunity. Pray for the doors to be open in the place God has prepared for the group to grow and meet the needs of the Chinese community. “Lord, You know the needs of this new house church as it is reaching out to the Chinese community and leading seekers into a relationship with You. We pray You will provide exactly what this new church needs to be able to grow and reach the Chinese in Markham. We rejoice as these Chinese immigrants are being led to a personal relationship with You.” “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:37b-38 ESV).
