Answering the call to take the gospel to the Tibetan people, the Duan family initiated a unique approach. Establishing a small business to meet community needs, they seamlessly integrated sharing the life of Jesus into their daily transactions. In a culture steeped in Vajrayana Buddhism, where rituals placate a pantheon of deities, the concept of a loving Most High God seeking a personal relationship was entirely foreign. Unfortunately, news of this unconventional sharing reached local authorities, resulting in the expulsion of the Duan family and their companions from the town. Yet, their story doesn’t conclude here. May more families choose to anchor their lives in places where the gospel is needed, continuing transformative journeys like those of the Duan family. Let us lift up families like the Duans in prayer.
