Annie is a Global Partner serving a second term in the same country of service, but among a different people group. She has grown familiar enough with the work and ministry that she is leading foreigners coming for mission/vision trips. Recently, Annie led a group of seminary students from a country where persecution regularly occurs. Sending missionaries from this country can be challenging due to financial and visa logistics, yet churches still want to send. This trip with the students went very well. The students were able to see the local ministry work and, in partnership with local churches, to reach out to informal communities and see the initial missionary tasks firsthand: entry, evangelism, and discipleship. Bible studies and kid’s clubs in these areas have yielded several candidates for baptism. Annie was able to challenge these seminary students to consider missions: both going and sending. Please pray for Annie as she continues ministering to under-served communities. Praise God for her passion and willingness to serve internationally. Ask God to continue to give her the energy to lead foreign mission teams and help them see beyond their current trip to generational possibilities.
