Ruth is a Global Missionary Partner (GMP) who served in Africa for two years. God had allowed Ruth to meet Aaron before her planned training and overseas service. When Ruth’s term ended, they got married, spent a year in their home country preparing for overseas service, and now they are on the field together! Praise the Lord for calling and providing for faithful couples to obey His call and to serve more than one term. Please pray for their readjustment to life in a foreign country. They are rejoicing that they were able to quickly find a house in the small town where they will be living. This area is rich in agriculture, and Ruth is grateful for the abundance of fresh fruit. Ruth and Aaron write: “Many people in this country integrate animistic beliefs inherited from their ancestors with their religion. Many people will hang a large tuft of animal hair (horse, sheep, cattle) from the rear bumper of their car as a good luck charm and protective talisman. May they break free from fear and bondage to false beliefs and discover true security and peace in the Heavenly Father’s sovereignty and love.”
