Lilongwe, Malawi, and Beyond

(li-LONG-way) – The Malawi Team writes: “As we are in the middle of the rainy season here, please pray for continued healthy rains. Over the past few years, Malawi has suffered greatly under the destruction and devastation of tropical storms and flooding. As the crops are beginning to grow and hope of a harvest is on the horizon, please pray that the Lord will keep any dangerous storms and heavy rains from the fields of Malawi. February is a time when most Malawians struggle with hunger, as the harvest from the year before is gone and the anticipation of the harvest to come stands unfulfilled at the present time. Please ask God to continue faithfully providing ‘rain on the righteous and the unrighteous’ (Matthew 5:45 NASB) because of His steadfast love and loving kindness. Pray for believers all over this country to faithfully proclaim their trust in their Creator and Sustainer amid fearful times.”
