(van-COO-ver) – A prison chaplain in the Metro Vancouver area recently met a South Asian man who had been in prison for a long time. He told the chaplain that he really needs Jesus in his life and said, “I recognize my need for Jesus and His people. All the best people I have known since coming to prison have been believers who are committed to God.” Pray for this chaplain as he has further interactions with this man and for the opportunity to clearly share the gospel. Pray that this man will come to faith in Jesus. Since he will soon transfer to another prison, ask God to provide people there who will disciple him. Finally, please pray that the Holy Spirit will work through the chaplain and many others like him who regularly have opportunities to share the reason for the hope that they have.
