Missionary Explorers, Project 3000

“One of the people groups we are researching is isolated and highly restricted,” missionary explorer Gabriela Garcia said. “No outsider is allowed to go in or out. They live deep in the jungle and have almost no contact with the outside world except when the government goes in to bring medical care. A few years ago, a young woman from the tribe gave birth to a baby girl with deformed legs. Instead of following the tribe’s custom of abandoning the child in the jungle to die, the mother took her baby and escaped to the city for help. She and her daughter now live among Christians, and she’s become the first believer from her people group. Please lift this believer in your prayers today! For the first time in many years, she is going back to visit her tribe. It has been very difficult for her to get permission to visit her family because she is a Christian. Please pray for her journey this week and especially for boldness in sharing her faith with her people.”
