(NAH-goh-yah) – Martha, a believer, attended an Easter party. At the party, she was able to answer many questions that people had regarding the Bible, Jesus, and the resurrection. Over the next few weeks, Martha continued to think about the questions and how so many had never heard the story of Jesus or knew anything about the Bible. Her heart was saddened that her own people are in such darkness. She is now thinking about the best way to share the gospel with the Japanese and how she can encourage others to read the Bible. Praise the Lord for how God is working in Martha’s heart. Pray for God to continue to give her a desire and heart to share the gospel with her friends and those she does not know. Pray for wisdom and for the Holy Spirit to lead her. Pray Ephesians 6:19 for Martha: “And also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel.” (ESV)
