Jewish people in many places are facing challenges, as much of the world hates things that they don’t understand. Believers who love the Jewish people are standing in the gap and telling them that there is a way to be covered in grace and mercy and to live forever in heaven. The hatred doesn’t need to scare them or stop them from believing the truth and being what they were chosen to be, “the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14-16 ESV). A young man, David, has been in the bondage of a belief system that doesn’t allow the Son of God to be acknowledged for who He really is. This young man is trying to break free. He has come to believers for answers to his questions, such as why some people hate his people, and even harder questions, such as why his own people will hate him if he publicly shares that he knows his Messiah. Much prayer will help the heart of this young man. Please intercede for David, for his new faith, and for the courage to share it. He’s not the only one among his people who has come to believe in Jesus.
