People of Southern Taiwan

“We are thankful for the many opportunities that our local churches, believers and coworkers will have to share the Christmas story and what it means for our lives today. Christmas is a festive time of year with department stores and some offices and apartment complexes putting up decorations. In the shopping centers, it is not uncommon to hear secular seasonal tunes with religious carols, such as ‘Silent Night’ and ‘Joy to the World’ mixed in. Most, however, do not know the reason for the season. They have never heard that we celebrate the birth of the Savior. They do not know the significance of His birth, why He came and the sacrifice He made for all. Please pray with us that the people of Southern Taiwan will have the opportunity to hear the true meaning of Christmas. May they hear, understand and accept Jesus as their personal Savior. May lives be forever changed, and may God be gloried across this beautiful island.”
