(car-NAH-tuh-kuh) – During the past few weeks, believers have been trained in how to share the gospel with Muslims. Now is a great opportunity for believers to engage with Muslims, as it is Ramadan. That’s the month of compulsory prayer and fasting in Islam. During this time, many Muslims are more engaged in their religion, seeking to draw closer to Allah. Please pray for outreach efforts during this time. Pray that the believers who have been trained will step out in boldness and faith during this season to share the good news in Muslim areas, despite any fear or anxiety. Ask God to stir in people’s hearts and draw more Muslims to Himself. Also pray for follow-up efforts with those who hear the good news this month and express an interest in knowing more about Jesus. “I came to you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not be based on human wisdom but on God’s power” (1 Corinthians 2:3-5 CSB).
