(JAHR-kuhnd) – There have been believers in the Khunti district in the state of Jharkhand, India, for generations, a sleeping “harvest force” to bring the gospel to unreached people groups and places. In April, you were asked to pray as Suraj traveled to that district to look for ministry partners. From training in the task of the Great Commission that started with the 25 believers he was able to gather, six new villages were entered and 18 people heard the gospel for the first time. As wonderful as that is, if every one of those 25 believers had obeyed, then 25 new villages would have been entered and perhaps 75 or more people would have heard the gospel. As Suraj continues to mobilize the Church in Khunti, pray that God will direct him to faithful, available, and teachable brothers and sisters who have a desire to join God in the advancement of His kingdom. Ask that the Khunti Church will be awakened to return to their first love for God, a reminder of the wonder of their salvation, and a deep stirring to take the gospel to their Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8).
