(mah-LOO-koo) – Ruth was poisoned by Fran, who later came to faith right before Fran passed away. Fran’s grown daughter Nancy chose to follow Christ about six months later and was baptized by Ruth, the woman her mother had tried to poison. We have continued to pray for Fran’s family, believing the Lord is not finished with this story. Fran’s husband, John, called Ruth’s husband, Matt, last week and asked him to come visit as soon as possible. When Matt asked him why the urgency, John told Matt he had a dream. In John’s dream, he saw his wife. Fran came to him and told him that he needed to listen to what Matt and Ruth are telling him about Jesus and to believe it. She told him in his dream to call Matt and ask them to come again, and tell them the story and that he needs to listen and believe.
