In February, you were asked to pray for Richard and Connie, who had decided to leave Turkey. They have now returned to their home in Central Asia after living in Istanbul for a number of years. It is now more important than ever to pray for their marriage. They live in a difficult region where the culture expects husbands to deal harshly with their wives. Pray that Richard will not succumb to pressure from outside expectations. Ask the Lord to move in Richard’s heart in such a way that he will, in fact, show everyone around him an example of a godly husband. Pray that Richard will help his wife adjust to living with his parents, which the culture dictates is the role of the youngest son.
