The nations of southern Africa are host to more than 10,000 different African Initiated Churches. These churches combine African traditional beliefs with aspects of Christianity. Many of these gather annually to celebrate Easter. Please pray that as they meet and gather because of the crucifixion of Christ, the true gospel will be made known and convict them of sin. Pray for an awakening and a celebration as true repentance and biblical salvation takes place. “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32 ESV).
