Swazi of Eswatini

(SWAH-zee) – Timitio lives on the streets of Eswatini. He sleeps in the roadside market and bathes behind the grocery store. He had to leave school because he couldn’t pay the school fees. He has learned to do woodworking and desperately wants to be a carpenter. Timitio would tell you, “My life is not good,” and he has no real hope for it to get better. The unemployment rate in Eswatini is very high, and it’s hard for Swazis such as Timitio to find a job. Pray for the homeless and the jobless in Eswatini to find hope for the future through Jesus Christ. Pray that they will hear and respond to “the free gift of God,” which is “eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23 ESV). Pray that God will show them creative ways to support themselves and faithfully provide for their daily needs.
